The new Nvidia GT 240 card will be available in both DDR3 and GDDR5 versions i.e. 1700 MHz GDDR5, 1000MHz GDDR3, and 900MHz DDR3.Its Graphics Clock frequency is 550 MHz.
It is based around Nvidia’s 40nm GT 215 core with Direct X10.1 and Shader Model 4.1 support.It also supports PhysX, which might make it an interesting choice for a dedicated physics card.
It uses a 128-bit memory bus and it will ship with 512MB of 1GB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 850MHz or 900MHz.
Price:The new Nvidia GT 240 Graphics Card price range will be around Rs.5,000 to Rs. 6,500 (US$100) depending on the card, cooler and the amount and type of memory.
